Lyme Targeting One Foot??

Hi!! So, I have many symtpoms (as we all do) but one that continuously worries me is that my right foot seems to be targeted quite often. My lyme has definitely mimicked MS along the way, and at the beginning I was convinced it was MS. I did have a clear brain MRI as well as spinal MRIS so it has been ruled out. However, it always concerns me that my right foot tends to go numb more often than any other body part. Have any of you experienced one body part being targeted more than others? And have you had an improvement with treatment?

Is it common for Lyme to Target one foot over the other? Thank you! I have only been treating for 3 months and I have seen improvements and almost all of my symptoms, so I am very grateful but this one always is concerning to me.

I definitely have found that my symptoms have a "greatest hits" album - my left knee is usually the joint with the most pain, stabbing pains usually are in the same place on one side of my face, same general muscle groups will twitch.

Can't speak to the particulars of your situation but it has been my experience that certain body parts consistently get it the worst.

Yes, definitely. Lyme loves DS's left knee and right shoulder, mostly the knee. I think that is normal for many but probably not all since Lyme symptoms can also be so random. The tingling, pain, swelling and numbness have gone away for DS but that was well into treatment, probably much better by 6 months and gone at 1.5 years. Hopefully you'll get there sooner!

Yes. Not just Lyme. Bartonella loves feet, joints, tendons, and the tissues surrounding them. My right side is affected more than the left, and when it gets exacerbated, I walk with a limp and sort of drag my right foot.

When herxing on minocycline, I remember being out for my daily walk and walking like a drunk while feeling my right foot and toes draw under in my shoe.

I'm glad you asked this question. I have been wondering the same thing. My left hip is my killer. I also have internal vibrations on my left side, but it's not on my right. Weird stuff.
