This quote is often stated here, as if people have already done this or know where to go. Even in "tick land" this is not necessarily the known normal. Maybe more common in the east?
We need some instruction on how to do this from those familiar with it. Most Drs would be clueless. My state run infectious disease dept does not even advertise this if they actually test ticks or not- its not even mentioned.

Their site gives instructions and they have a 3 business day turn a round for results.
i recently used the and I was pleased with the service.
