Thrombocytopenia is a condition in which you have a low blood platelet count. Platelets (thrombocytes) are colorless blood cells that help blood clot. Platelets stop bleeding by clumping and forming plugs in blood vessel injuries.

This was posted a while ago too, BUT they didnt say what it carried in Asia. Think this new tick was found in a neighboring state next to NJ too.

The ticks winter on the bodies of the sheep. I wonder why they don't use a flea & tick product which kills any fleas and ticks on the animals, like we have with our dogs.

I suppose they could keep dipping the animals during the winter, but to just give them a 30 tablet which would kill the ticks might prove much more effective.

I also suppose this tick is now on the deer and other wild life in the area.

I was diagnosed with chronic Thrombocytopenia 30 years ago. Platelet count fluctuates but never reaches normal amount.
