I've been suffering from terrible insomnia for almost 2 years now.
The benzo's and antidepressants didn't help at all.
Here's my current minimum sleep protocol:
Take these about
2 hours before going to bed so you have enough time to empty your bladders.
1 alcohol free beer (the hops really helps)
1 tea spoon valerian root tincture
20 drops hawthorne tincture is also supposed to help with sleep (probably by relaxing the heart)
garlic capsule (anti-inflammatory)
magnesium powder (relaxes the muscles)
californian poppy tincture (really helps calm the nerves) and/or a tea spoon of regular poppy seed oil.
Go to bed early even if you don't feel tired
1 tea spoon cod liver oil (vitamin d, vitamin a, anti-inflammatory omega-3 fatty acids)
During the day you can try some organic green tea, skullcap, ashwagandha, vitamin c (lemon juice) and similar.
