Which Igenix tests does medicare cover

I know this may be a lot to ask, but does anyone know all of the tests from Igenix that medicare covers fully? I've always suspected my father (also) has lyme and he agreed to do the test but we can't afford any tests that aren't covered. Medicare covers a broad array of lyme and co's, right?

I am fairly sure they cover ALL physician ordered tests.

No, they don't cover all tests.

They will cover most of Igenex's test. I paid $65 of the $210 in 2015 for Lyme IFA screen (#230,) Lyme western blot IgM (#188,) Lyme western blot IgG (#189.) I think their prices have gone up and they have new tests since then. It would be a good idea to call them and see if they can give you a ball park (since they will say they can't guarantee that's what you will be required to pay) on the test(s) you want done.

That's what happened when i called, they seemed pretty nonchalant about it. Pretty much said "whatever your Medicaid covers, i dont know"

From reading the instructions you are responsible for the deductible or copay. Unless CD57 is ordered. A credit card to pay for testing is required if CD57 is ordered. If it’s left out I thought the maximum was copay 20% but I could be wrong. I’m assuming your copay for the year is paid. I’m currently looking into it.
