Thanks. The difference between the infrared wavelength (near in particular) and the UV wavelength though is not that big. Plus, other frequencies can also be damaging when taking these drugs and it is why they don’t allow people to have skin treatments like IPL or laser while on these drugs. These are based on wavelengths longer than UV light (closer to the infrared spectrum). Near infrared light especially is focused more on the surface of the body there is a recent review paper on Pubmed that says it’s effects are not produced through heat. Anyway was just hoping to hear from someone who has taken these drugs and done infrared saunas at the same time. And I’d be particularly interested in knowing if anyone has done near infrared saunas while on them. That’s helpful to know though that you find you are less sensitive to mino than doxy. I’ve taken doxy as well and was quite sensitive so maybe I’ll be less so with mino.
i actually haven't had any skin reactions at all when on mino and being out in the sun.
Doxy was really bad....it didn't take long for my skin to burn...and it was itchy and sore at the same time...little bumps. I think it was only about
10-15 minutes of exposure.
This will bump up to the top again.
