Is a 1:5 herb ratio small

Is this ratio a small amount or should I get more herbs with a high herb concentrate? In doing buhners herbal proton.

I know some of Woodland Essence and Sage Woman Herbs are a 1:5 ratio and those two are recommended by Buhner

I just checked the hawthorn tincture at Woodland essence and it is even stronger 1:2 ratio

The hawthorne tincture at Green Dragon Botanicals is 1:5 ratio.

I would focus more on buying a good quality one - that Buhner recommends.
Three sources I can think of:

- Woodland Essence
- Sage Woman Herbs
- Green Dragon Botanicals

The 1:5 ratio is commonly used for dried herb. A 1:2 for fresh because there is also the water content of the herb to take into account. The second number of the ratio indicates the amount of menstruum or alcohol/H20 mixture used). So for the Woodlandessence fresh hawthorne, more alcohol is needed to extract the active compounds.
