Good god is that stuff potent. I tried some drops in water, and it almost killed me. (Not literally). It's so strong, burned my mouth. If you get even a smidgen on your lips, it will give a strong burning sensation on your lips.

If anyone is using it, put it in orange juice. It's much easier that way. Same with liquid emulsion artemisinin. Both really need orange juice to mask how strong they are!

Carvacrol was found to be the most active ingredient of oregano oil showing excellent activity against B. burgdorferi stationary phase cells, while other ingredients of oregano oil p-cymene and α-terpinene had no apparent activity.

I ordered it from a pharmaceutical company to guarantee high quality, but zane hellas do a high quality non-pharmaceutical grade version for relatively cheap too.

In my view, it's an absolute must to have on any lyme treatment.

I've taken the Zane Hellas wld oil of oregano with minimum 86% carvacrol and boy does it kick a punch and burn like mad - started with one drop in coconut oil and worked up to 8 drops three times per day. It really started me on the road to recovery - I took that before I started the herbs. I have some in the back of the cupboard still and take a couple of drops once every month or so now.

It is very powerful stuff and a great price compared to some of the supplements and herbs. I found it best putting the drops into either coconut oil or olive oil and then drink some water very quickly !!

oil of oregano is a potent herb with lots of benefits its worth doing some research on it.

it melts biofilms, kills fungus, lyme and much more. Note it also wipes out gut flora like an abx so treat it similar to one.

Sean I am curious as to why go carvacrol as opposed to OoO. I know it's the active ingredient but isn't it much more expensive and potentially more dangerous? Especially if you are adding to to coconut oil or whatever, at that point wouldn't it be the same as just drinking OoO?

Because carvacrol is the active ingredient that has activity against lyme, not oregano oil itself. You ideally want to isolate it, which I bought at 97% purity.
