Hi all -

I'm finally starting Lyme/EBV treatment and am starting out with 1 drop Samento and 1 drop A-EB/H6.

Trouble is - I feel like I'm already herxing on one drop (plan was to increase by 1 drop every 4 days til I find my ceiling).

Has anyone else experienced this and did you just end up making some kind of dilution? I'm also wondering if my symptoms are just coincidence and I need to keep moving forward. I have a really bad pressure headache that isn't helped by advil or tylenol and digestive distress.

P.S. I've been lurking the last month - and am very thankful for all the collective wisdom here. I've had undiagnosed Lyme at least 5 years and suffer from really bad uveitis - I recently even had to have laser treatment on my retina which was a barrel of fun. I also have A.S. (ankylosing spondylitis) but have been able to keep that under control with regular chiropractic care, pilates, and a gluten free diet.

Put a drop of the tincture in a small glass of water and only drink a small portion of the potion. The drop will dilute in the water so the little water that you take contains minimal solution.

And yes, there are many people who find one drop too strong for them. Eventually they are able to take more as their bacterial load lessens and they can tolerate the herbs better.

Good information from Healing98 and you can also try starting out taking it every other day and see if you can slowly build up that way.

I understand it seems like it will take forever but you will get there.


Also sometimes a herbal we cant tolerate at one time, sometimes can be introduced later in treatment with no issues.

Good advice with previous comments. Sometimes people have to start very very slow and conservatively with treatments. I remember one drop of cryptolepis used to give me the worst herxes, massive pressure headaches and pain in the back of my head, like being struck with a lightning bolt. Over time I was able to build up, but I had to be careful.

Thanks so much everyone! The every other day thing may be a good idea for me since I didn't really feel it til 2 full days of treating 2x/day.

I really didn't expect the EBV to have that bad of a herx!
