In regards to that article on a new drug that is shown to be highly effective - While i get why there is such sensitivity put into research before just launching a drug, I really do - sometimes I just can't help but shake my head on how long it takes. Human trials alone for that are 5 years away! Someone can suffer a lot in that time. I wish we had more people in research and studying these types of thing.
I believe certain drugs are purposely surpressed while others aren't. Remember Big pharma is in the business of disease management and symptoms maintenance, you cure a patient, there's no more money to be made.
Ask this question, how is that the opioid drugs were given the approval, while something like this drug EBC-46 drug, which is compounded from a blushwood berry plant delayed? When something so herbal and natural, probably doesn't have many side effects at all.
This drug was reported in 2016, we'll be going into 2019 shortly
/youtu.be/4GWDbAos8-EBelieve me, it's atrocious when they say 5 years or so... Imagine the amount of people that will be dieing in that amount of time from cancer and would be willing to try a drug like EBC-46 and risk the side effects. And think of the amount of side effects from chemo and radiation, radiation is basically a death sentence!
There's this new thing called immunotherapy that supposed to be a big breakthrough and kicking cancers ass... But for the longest, people have been told to take chemo and radiation, when there's better alternatives out there.
I do not trust the medical system at all.
With all the cholesterol and blood pressure lowering drugs - how come heart disease is still such a huge problem? Maybe those meds aren't so great?
My husband has a good Doc. When his cholesterol and sugar were high...she didn't jump to the meds right away. He has seen a correlation with the appropriate thyroid dose and his cholesterol and sugar numbers.
She agreed to an incremental raise in his thyroid med. That along with exercise and not eating late in the evening improved his cholesterol and glucose numbers.
Charlie55 - my friend had breast cancer over 15 years ago....surgery, then radiation. It was brutal.
Here we are 15 years later...and not much has changed. It's ridiculous the amount of money poured into the Canadian Cancer Society.... Where's all that money going? (it's not in researching new treatments...is it)
They keep sending me gifts for my donations - like calculators and pens. Keep your crap that I throw away...and find a frigging cure.
