Hey I am currently symptom free for a while, except die offs and issues with taking my medicines, and regular herx's.
Except Heart Palpitations
When I take a nap, or lay down, my heart skips every once and a while, or it feels like it pumps backwards for a beat, or I suddenly have to breath in or out.
Not sure what is causing this. All of my fatigue, itching, and joint pain has been gone for the past week or two and nearly gone for the last 6 (yay!). I was in really bad shape for the past few years so this is amazing.
I do not have a lot of energy because I am basically on a perma-fast. I've lost 45 pounds. I'm slightly over weight but not obese. I was in perfect fitness before I got lyme.
Is there anything I can do to treat my heart palpitations? Will it eventually go away?

Hawthorne
I believe there's also motherwort.
You probably shouldn't combine them. Try either one.

THANKS
Some of these herbs are stronger than medications -no joke. I know cat's claw kicked my butt, if I accidentally take more than 1/4 tsp I know I'm going to be sick (but in a good way).
20:1 garlic extract allicin 1TSP
whole leaf green stevia 1TSP
organic turmeric 1TSP
organic Japanese knotweed 1TSP
1/4 tsp cat's claw
that plus a my antibiotics and my antiparasite perscript
ion drugs, is what is working for me (currently)
I will look for Hawthorne and Motherwort now! thanks insomniaaa

They're a pain and I haven't found anything that helps. I've started taking doxy along with heavy doses of CSA and Nauclea Latifolia and I think my heart beat has slowed down a bit. I haven't had a skipped beat since starting but I don't know if it's too early to say

Are you taking antibiotics? All of my heart palpitations went away immediately after I stopped taking them.

joeee: Wow this sounds like an amazing book. I am so glad you "were" a patient once, that's wonderful. I found a review on amazon of the book and the person mentions "allicin" as one of the herbs in the treatment -- which is garlic extract.
I have been listening to a radio station that has a commerical for "Allicin-C". One time they had the inventor of the extraction technique on for an interview, and he claimed that a peer reviewed study showed that it was very potent solution against lyme something like a study in Texas and Austrial showed it "cured lyme in 4 months" -- of course I find it hard to believe. So the study calls for 15 pills a day for 4 months -- that ends up being $15 a day or $1800 for 4 months.
I was able to find a "20:1" extract on Amazon for cheap. Something like 500 grams for $25. I am on day three. I have no idea what the potentency of if the extract is actually 20:1, but it is affordable and I am taking 3 tablespoons a day trying to mimic what I've heard on the radio.
So far so good, really strong herx in the last few days. Lots of energy but I am definitely processining a lot of poison, hopefully dead spirochete, out of my body. I feel wonderful.
Noah2112: Yes I am on antibiotics, but hopefully with these new chinese herbs I can get off. It will be up to my LLND which my next appointment is in November. If my heart problems get worse, I'll try skipping a week based on your experience. Thank you for your input
Thank you everyone

I had that periodically for 6 years, with symptoms lasting from weeks to months at a time. That was prior to Lyme dx or tx. Have had no noticeable episodes in past 2 years since I've been the sickest. Go figure.
