This feels like a sinus infection with Headache. Sinuses feel slightly sensitive, and they feel dry. about a week ago I tried to neti-pot using Xylitol (a very small amount to start). It burned and pink blood came out when I spit.

Now, today, I started sneezing and when I inhale snot in and spit out my mouth, blood is there - but not when I blow my nose. What does this mean?

This sounds like a sinus infection, right? Does anyone have any great tips? I'm taking 1000 mg Vitamin C and have mostly doing a saline neti every day for the last three days. I skipped today, actually.

i has a tremendous amount of relief from cleaning my ears and nose.


After some research, I filled a 2oz dropper bottle (empty tincture bottle) with; water, 10% apple cider vinegar, 5% salt. Some added extras above the base recipie are a pinch of clove, oil of oregano, colloidal silver, black walnut hull.


I put a few drops in my ears and then sniff a few drops up each nostril. 1-3 x per day.

don't forget the saline part, otherwise it stings!

so Saline (buffered) + 1/8 - 1/4 tsp of Xylitol should be fine, I use that all the time.


I also add 8-10 drops GSE extract for a 500ml mix.
