Hi all,

I'm very new to this herxing thing and am currently experiencing a low grade fever (about 1 degree higher than my normal at 98.6) and generally feel unwell (kind of achy on and off, warm, had some stomach upset earlier, feel very anxious). This is the second time it is happening in two weeks (I also pulled a low grade fever with anxiety and some weakness then and it dissipated in a day or so).

I just started a new herb with my LLMD a week ago today - he said this is the strongest of them that I will be on.

I have the MTHFR mutation, so I know I don't detox properly and to be honest, this week my detoxing has been limited.

Could this be a herx, even a week after a new treatment? Or could it be a flare? Feels horrible

I used to have temperature fluctuations all the time, low to high... 96 - 99 - one thing that helped me was while detoxing I'd throw in an Epsom salt bath at night - would take the aches and pains away, and usually would help with the fever, but don't take it too hot or it'll have the reverse affect on your fever.
