Anyone seen Dr Elena Frid in New York for lyme treatment?

Has anyone seen Dr Elena Frid in New York for lyme treatment? If so how was she and is she good at treating lyme?

I was wondering the same thing, or if she is just trying to capitalize on lyme on social media and conference circuits.

She has a lot of good reviews and is an ILADS member and has spoken at ILADS conferences. Has to be good right?

in the various FB groups, she seems to have mixed reviews. she seems to have some fans. she also seems pricey.

though havent seen an direct feedback about people getting to remission through her.

When you say remission are you saying you haven't seen anyone actually get cured?

yeah, i am not sure...i would do some research in other groups like in FB. there are more people there that have been to her from the posts.

from my cursory scan on there of her reviews, the main points i hear were she was expensive, no real feedback about cases of remission, but she did have some fans (some people like her)

the other thing i try to look for is how long has she been practicing or treating lyme, i cannot find any real info on that. on her about page on her website, she has some awards since 2014, but mainly the past few years. so, it would appear she was practicing atleast since then, but probably not decades of experience treating tick-borne disease.

Frid is like any other LLMD that's not the big ones like Dr. H or Dr. J. not terrible but not great. they all seem to be similar with some twist/specialty that people like about them. I have a list of LLMD's in the NY metro area which is from about a year ago i'm sure its still accurate email me i can send over.

Thanks for the reply. The problem I have with those top LLMD's is the wait time. Isn't it several months to see guys like Dr H and Dr J? She works with Dr. charles ray jones who from what I've read is a LLMD legend. That should make her really good right? Also since my symptoms are pretty much neurological it would be best to see her since she's a neurologist right?

Usually get in to the J clinic in about 3 weeks.
You will most likely see a NP or PA though (but they consult with him and follow his protocols)
Even tho she works with CRJ - she may not follow what he does.

Dr J is an infectious disease doc - which is also good - his background is with HIV/AIDS.
That’s what led him to pulsed approach with lyme treatment.
