Stiff neck and shoulder pain - babesia???

Hi Lyme family sad
I am aware that these symptom come from Babesia, but has anyone found any relief?
the pain is insane and the only relief i feel is laying down flat sad
i have cried multiple times. :*

i have tried sweet annie's but no relief...

I don’t know if you can say for sure it’s Babesia.

I think mine is Bartonella.

Sweet Annie is Artemisia, right?

You most likely need more than that to treat Babesia.
Have you treated Lyme and bart as well?

Can be any tick illness- they can all create body pain. Lyme is the most noted for neck and shoulder issues though.

I put a few drops of clove oil in some olive oil, and rub it on my neck. It seems to help a lot with muscle pain, and it really helps my skin too.

Have you been to a chiropractor? Sometimes your neck just needs an adjustment.

There’s a stretch my PT taught me that helped my stiff shoulders a ton. She called it the ‘student stretch’. Turn your head to look down at one of your hips, reach up with the arm on that side and pull your head down. You’ll feel it in your shoulder blade if you do it right. Hold that pose for 20 seconds, then relax. Repeat as needed. It helped me a lot.

Hi,

The McKenzie method for neck pain has been a lifesaver for me especially the basic exercise of slightly tucking your chin and gently moving your head back towards a wall (so your head is more on top of your shoulders-helps posture too) and holding 10 seconds. I was in so much pain prior and after a few days the pain in my neck and shoulders went away. I do them everyday to keep the pain away. I still have flare ups but this has helped a lot.
