Head Jerks

Does anyone else get head jerks while on antibiotics? I have alot of weird symptoms that surface but this one really scared me. I can be sitting still and all of a sudden my head will jerk to the right real fast. I'm hoping I never hurt myself when this happens. It even did it yesterday while I was laying down. It jerked three times in a row. Blah!

Yes! That's exactly what happens to me. Is yours more of a twitch or a jerk though? Mine is a hard jerk that can't be controlled.

CG do you think useing a neck brace would help to make sure you dont hurt your neck like a whiplash why your on abx?

i would hate to know you was damaged by this or anyone else for that matter.

my face twitches, my eyelids twitch.. my thumb twitches.. basically i'm waiting for the other symptoms...


if your neck jerks to where you are getting headaches or whiplash, i would seek medical attention. but if it just jerks a little, my neck jerks if sit still sometimes..

Omg, I could never see me walking around in a brace, LOL. I think I would die laughing at myself, haha!

I'm not sure hun. Some people don't respond to certain antibiotics. If I were you, I wouldn't give up just yet.

Let me tell you....you can't just snap out of Lyme Disease. I wish it was that easy. Maybe you should get that DVD of Under Our Skin and make your family watch it. It would explain so much. The reason they probably don't believe you is because the symptoms are all over your body. That's what Lyme does.

If you came to my house, you would see me sitting on the couch or laying in bed and most of the time I am moaning and groaning in pain.

jame i know just how you feel, i even whent as far as buying a pourch swing 3 months ago. i havent as of yet been able to lay in it :(

i dont knwo if its luck i would call it, but i have a 2 neighbors 1 def has lyme and the other is a iffy for lyme, her own Dr. will not test her for it. so sad.

anyways the 3 of us usealy only talk by phone as we cant seem to get our so called good days in sink. and i am only talking about 50 feet of walking. and 3 of us cant do it. its so sad its funny.

my point is like CG said if we was able to meet up. it would be to watch each other lay around. about the only time i leave my home is to go to Dr. appointments.
also the movie should be a must see for all lymies and there family. is how i feel about it.
sometimes it is easyer to accept it when you see it and the movie explanes it so well, anyone can understand.

yes it is very hard for others to understand we are sick when we dont look it they say you dont look sick, but last time i looked none of us was seethrough.

jame i have a MRI done, showed 10 to 15 lesions on my brain, witch is why i was tested for lyme. well i have lyme but live were there is no LLMD to treat me.

SweetCheeksMom - are you currently seeing a LLMD?

And what infections have you treated to date?
