Anyone from the East Midlands UK

I have looked for support groups and there is not anything local to me, it can be so isolating, sometimes I feel like how can o be the only person to havebeen bitten in this deer park that is packed full of people every day?!

I wouldn’t wish this on anyone but jeez it would be good to have people local to have a cuppa and a rant with!

Yes, we're down in Peterborough. Can't remember if we've spoken before - I only dip in and out of the forum. It's my wife who's unwell.

Can feel especially isolated in UK where Lyme is barely acknowledged. Where are you based?

Yeah it's real hard to get British doctors on board, isn't it? My wife has been suffering with symptoms for years, but was only diagnosed a few months ago. She went to her GP a few years back suspecting Lyme disease, and they laughed her off and refused to test her. She was quite young at the time so may have pushed it otherwise. What herbs are you taking? I've been writing about my wife's experience on another thread on here - she's responded well to the treatment and has had an almost completely symptom-free few weeks!
