This site doubts everything and labels every alternative Dr and/or treatment as "quackery".

The sad thing is someone is putting in the time and energy to do this. They dont have the guts to put their name anywhere though.

Just like western medicine, they deny that evidence and proof exists on certain topics when it clearly has, they just choose to look the other way and ignore it.

These people are cherry-pickers par excellence. Plus whenever you present solid information/research they always move goalposts or find a way to deconstruct the messenger in order to devalue the research. The double-standards are ridiculous, they apply one standard to studies that agree with their viewpoint and a ridiculously higher bar for the studies that counter their viewpoint. I can't spend time on these sites, the amount of intellectual dishonesty and willful obfuscation makes me too angry.

Ummm - You should be having periodic eye tests regardless.

I told the optometrist that I had Lyme disease and she had me do a visual fields test - plus she checked out my optic nerve.

Garbage - where are they getting this false positive of up to 57%?

Yah - you think it’s bad in the US of A.
Try getting good treatment in Canada.

** Note: things have changed for the better in the past year. We now have a Dr in Alberta who treats Lyme - and not just a short course of abx.
Unfortunately his wait list is full and People are waiting 9 months to get in.
It is covered by our health care, though.

Unfortunately these websites do not allow for rebuttals because they have no comments section. I wouldn't be surprised if this person has some kind of paranoid mental illness like schizophrenia or autism that makes them hellbent on "exposing" a "fake" illness. Really sad they have nothing else to devote their time to honestly.

People associated with this website have been trolling the Lyme subreddit for the past week. They answer every single post telling people Lyme isn’t real and they should snap out of it, and similar nonsense. I blocked them immediately just so I don’t have to see their posts. Just a heads up for people who check out Reddit too. The Lyme subreddit has been helpful for me in the past.

Oh god reddit is a nightmare. So many trolls. Honestly any website that has that many members is toxic. Plus the anonymity doesn't help their confidence to piss people off.

Interesting the domain is registered from Toronto, CA.

People and/or lyme organizations (LymeDisease.org, Bay Area Lyme, etc.) should hammer the Registrar Abuse Contact Email: registrar-abuse@google.com about this site. With such an emphasis on "fake news" lately, maybe it would get some traction.

"Because patients deserve better"...yep this site got the sentiment correct but no one is going to benefit from the disinformation at lymescience.org. what a load of crap. If they were so confident in all the `info` provided at this site 5hen why do they feel it necessary to hide who they are?

It looks like someone in Canada (maybe an undergrad) did a bunch of Google searches and then provides links to every thing contrary to the CDC narrative. Lyme /coinfection suffers deserve better than this hit job of a site that never indicates why anyone should find this person`s/organization`s credible since they never their credentials, an internet ghost. I don't have the energy to see how much activity this web site gets but if it's over 1% it's too much.

Yeah over at the Reddit sub, definitely some trolls over there,

and thankfully there are yes also, a few kind-hearted, knowledgeable (even actually scientific and well-read) helpful people over there calling them out, as that site could be agit-prop or god knows who or what...

but sometimes it's hard to pick out the trolls, as some of them seem hell-bent on disinfo'ing, could be more to it.

...lol how about this one, it's a really poor (yet topical) joke: I can't wear my tin-foil hat anymore because the top of my head hurts and has this really tender sore spot from Lyme n Cos...
