First - 4 months is not a long time to treat with antibiotics.
It sounds like the break allowed your body to detox and that resulted in the symptoms abating.
Are you back on the treatment again?
Are you detoxing with multiple methods daily?
So since I had last posted, which was about
4 months back, I was taking antibiotics. I kept taking them for about
2 months. I was also taking probiotics so as to not get diarrhea from all the antibiotics. I also cut out the daily pastry (the single biggest sugar intake) from my diet. Switched to unsweetened pea protein from chocolate flavored sweet protein for my protein shake. Other than that, I just eat 1-2 small meals of an egg and some beans/spinach/yogurt.
The symptoms had been gradually (very slowly though) getting better. And then after taking antibiotics continuously for 2 months or so, I ran out of antibiotics and couldn't get refill because couldn't get an appointment with the doctor.
Strangely, the symptoms got really better after 3 months, so roughly 2-3 weeks after I last took antibiotics and I stayed symptom free for something like 7-10 days but then the symptoms came back within 1-2 weeks.
So I think I need to start taking antibiotics again and stick with them along with trying to stick to a very strict regimen of diet. Feel free to suggest if something can be improved in my diet or any other addition in my diet.
Also, I had tested negative for all other ticked based infection in a comprehensive panel from IgeneX.
