There's a lot of inconsistencies with anti vaccine website. For example I'll see them cite a study where it says a chemical in a vaccine has reason to do more studying but they'll ignore the end note where the researcher notes that they saw no evidence of health problems arising from that from all the studies done.
. . . . .
And it's hard to deny there is a lot of money in the alternative medicine industry too. I've wasted countless money on alternative doctors who I've gotten nowhere with just like with mainstream ones.
I haven’t looked into anti-vax sites or what they quote, but I honestly put very little stock in scientific studies at all anymore. For me, they raise more questions than answers. They also are extremely narrow in scope and try to isolate one thing in a vacuum and are not at all conducted in a way that makes sense to me.
The example you gave is a case in point. How many people were in the study? Were any of them chronically ill? Did any have autoimmune disease? Autism? Lyme? How long did they follow up on the study participants to determine if any symptoms or illness occurred in the weeks/months/year following that could be related to the chemical. If the study is small and contains only healthy people, chances of discovering harm from the chemical would be reduced.
Also, genetics and genomics (aberrant gene activation) is a significant factor that modern medicine has not caught up with. Additionally, toxicity is cumulative. What tests did they perform on the participants to determine their total toxicity as far as it is currently measurable prior to the vaccine? Following the vaccine?
These are the kinds of questions that go through my mind whenever I read or hear about
a scientific study.
That last statement about
$$$ being made in alternative medicine - Agreed. There’s no denying that, and I have been disappointed with what I have experienced in that arena as well. It’s why I have to be my own advocate.
