Thats the issue with some states that already did this.
If these laws wording are to vague, Insurance can, have, and will say two weeks is sufficient unless the law states otherwise. Hoping they did a better job than previous states.
Happened to me. And the rep said two weeks cure all and every case of lyme disease. They would not budge. So it meant no change in the end.
I dont see details in the Illinios law, but Penn's look good: "HB 629 would require health insurers to cover treatment plans for Lyme disease or related tick-borne illnesses, as prescribed by a patient’s healthcare practitioner."
