Swollen lymph nodes

I had one in my left clavicle area - you know where it dips in?

But I didn’t know what the sore lump was until my first LLND appt in 2014.

It went away with Bart treatment. That is a common Bartonella symptom - swollen and/or painful lymph nodes.

During bart treatment I had another one pop up behind my right ear. I don’t remember that one being sore.

When my LLND told me it was lymph node swelling - of course I googled it and came across non - hodgekins lymphoma. A couple other symptoms were weight loss and sweating at night. I experienced those.

(It can also be Lyme though)

Maybe talk to your regular dr about your concerns - I think there are signs in certain blood tests.
It will put your mind at ease .

My LLMD noted some other bart symptoms at my last visit, mostly skin issues. So maybe it's that. Thanks! And I'll ask my pcp next time I'm in.

One observation is that it does seem to improve, when i detox. like exercise, also, i notice improvement after taking NAC in the morning. not sure if it improves after alka seltzer gold or not. sometimes in hot shower, i stretch and massage the area too, i think that may help.

if i come up with no solutions from the dentist again (or ENT), i may explore drainage massage or accupuncture.

sebreg, have you been able to correlate any specific treatment or detox method that helped reduce your symptoms.

in my case, i believe its one of three things: low level infection in tooth, the inflamed lingual tonsil, or straight up bartonella/lyme

Yeah, it's sometimes hard to figure out with these things what exactly is driving the symptom. It could be that it's even a mix of those 3 things you mention.

I do think these infections often can cause lymph node swelling, so hopefully as you keep making progress with treatments that symptom should hopefully resolve over time. I think it's a very good indicator and sign that as you've treated that symptom seems to be improving.

I've had to rotate through a lot of treatments because I tend to eventually plateau on any specific combo. So I can't really say that one treatment has helped the most, but I have been on dapsone and also pyrazinamide protocols which were helpful. Malarone has also always been super effective, so I figure babesia/babs like organism is likely playing a large role. Whenever I take an effective med it does flare my lymph node symptom (along with the other symptoms as well).

It's just a slow process for me, infections must be pretty entrenched and have had quite a high load I imagine, plus always had issues with herxheimers, so it's been a slow process of gradually chipping away at this stuff while taking supportive detox/immune system supplements, healthy diet, etc...

I've also been trying out some essential oil combos from Tick Slayer, and those seem to be very effective as well. I like the abx/herbal combo approach.

That's good! I found it quite relaxing to do it. I haven't done it in awhile...I should though.

Believe me they hurt at least mine did I fixed it with going out and lay in sun for 20 mins a day with the neck facing sun, also eat a slice of lemon daily it will drain them it worked for me and was easy.

For me, it was treating bartonella that finally resolved the lymph node that had plagued me for a couple years.

Just thought I would update that the stubborn lymph node finally went down 10 months after this post. Two things changed -- I went back on a strict low-carb candida diet and added a good vitamin B complex. I think it was related to diet / inflammation.

my lymph node issues in my neck seem to have resolved last summer, been about 8 or more months now since that symptom. i attributed it to exercise and eating a good amount of raw garlic
