That's my only experience with colostrum.

As for Leaky Gut, I had a few practitioners keep mentioning it. But, after paying to test for it, there was no such evidence. What sort of GI testing have you had?

What sort of colostrum are you taking? Is it transfer factor?

I 100% would expect a herx from transfer factor. The companies that make it say to expect fevers for up to two weeks! Serious immune system jump-start. Colostrum contains antibodies, so I would guess that a well-matched form of colostrum would make you feel kind of awful at first because it would inspire your immune system to kill pathogens and other unpleasant immune system jobs (fever, inflammation, etc.). Some people find it's powerfully helpful after the initial period of flu-like symptoms.
