I have the last days gotten very restless, crawly feeling in the body, high pulse and hard to sleep. It feels like a herx or die off reaction but the only thing changed is that I added digestive enzymes with a high amount of lipase (this one https://se.iherb.com/pr/enzymedica-lypo-gold-for-fat-digestion-120-capsules/3613). I have been taking 1 capsule to a meal three times a day.
Can starting a digestive enzyme give you this kind of reaction?

I took that brand in the beginning before I knew the source of the enzymes. I believe they come from molds (as a lot of OTC brands do) and I have CIRS from mold. My Functional MD told me to take Ortho Molecular Digestzyme instead.

They do? Thank you for telling me! Did you also react when taking them?

Hard to tell as I was super toxic and reactive all the time anyway, but if I remember right, they didn’t make me feel good.

I had not thought of this! Great tip, WBF.

I also herxed off digest gold. I took one that supported mitochondria. It made me inflamed. My LLMD says he had someone else that happened to I think, something to do with the mitochondrial ingredient I wish I could remember what he said but yes. I don't think it was the enzymes but the other thing added to it. If you took the same one I did.

@Jb1994: My product only contain amylase, protease and lipase. I ser that digest gold also contain ATPpro, I guess that is what you mean. I got an answer in another forum that digestive enzymes do break down biofilms... maybe that's what happened 🤔🌸

I started taking digestive enzymes a few months ago. I remember the first time I took one I got really tired and slept for hours. After a few days the tiredness after taking them went away. But yeah I believe it was a detox reaction from the enzymes.

@JayPoppa interesting to hear! I was not prepared to react on digestive enzymes...

It is amazing the range of things we have reactions to. Just goes to show how dysfunctional our bodies are.

Yes, I feel it's sometimes so frustrating.... One thing can be great in some aspects but worse in others... That makes it hard... 🙄

yes the ATPro stuff. I'm not sure if that's what messed me up now or the digestive enzyme...though I did take enzymes before without ill effects. Maybe the poison was in the dose...anyway I stay far away from that stuff now. Didn't know they busted biofilms, interesting. And it does astound me the extent to which the body can screw up.
