First know that I am not a fan of the CDC and feel they have done a disservice to the public with many of their health recommendations.

That said I found this CDC reco on Lyme tests they don't approve. It has a 12/2018 web page date. Sadly they just state ones they disagree with but don't give any reasons why we should not be taking these tests. They have the best resources our tax dollars can buy but they can't give any scientific substantiated and transparent reasons to avoid them.

Now a days I trust nothing the government says, they don't even hide their frauds and collusion anymore.

They don’t approve western blots without the IFA or Elisa.

Idiot sticks.

I had a negative IFA when I did the lyme test that our healthcare (Canada) provides.

I got an IgM positive WB with Igenex a few months later.

I had a couple Elisa/western blot test that were negative. However the 1st Elisa wasn't even done over a year after when I believe I was infected. The next time they were used were 11 yrs later, still negative.

There is a fool-proof lyme test that they're working on now. It is undeniable. Not sure where they are in the progress of it. They grow spirochetes from blood in petri dish. If you can grow it, you have it. No denying. CDC will hate that.

They're petrified of this type of test, because there is no denying its validity. They want to ensure they retain the right to inaccurate testing. There are groups trying to get these tests passed through the FDA now. The FDA is just as corrupt as the CDC, so they'll have an uphill battle against them.

Well I'm also interested in these tests, I have presentation on the iGenex Western blot for 1 possibly 2 very lyme specific bands, 31 and 58, and (58 is thought to be a Euro-strain I think)...

and there is another test that "can't be faked" that is the lactate or anaerobic threshold test; this I saw on a 2015 documentary (Forgotten Plague, in the first 22 minutes) that served as a basis for a chronic fatigue syndrome and/or disability (lyme sufferer in california I think) claim for this individual.

I want to get more help, but it seems my help would prefer to say it's all in my head and why don't I just get a job and get on antidepressants, blood pressure meds, and lose weight or something...

that's to say nothing about Connexions test or Galaxy, or ArminLabs or Stonybrook, and other testing labs that might pick up more strains (of bart, babs, ricketsia, tularemia, toxoplasmosis and all the other tbd's)...

the tests largely now (most here know this) are designed to delay/deny diagnosis and delay/deny treatment, a disservice indeed...

do the opposite of whatever the CDC or their "doctors" says, they are not a legitimize organization
