where to get cholestyramine? ...and ERMI testing

Hi all,
I want to try dr. Shoemaker protocol for mold toxicity due my results from MycoTox Profile with high Ochratoxin A (14.08) and Mycophenolic Acid (20.49).

I've never tried to target mold, this is why I want to try, go for new path, new hopes for better living again...

Great Plain Labs says:
Treatment should be aimed at removing the source of exposure. Agents
such as oral cholestyramine, charcoal, and phenylalanine can help prevent the absorption of these toxins from food.
Antioxidants such as vitamins A, E, C, NAC, rosmarinic acid, and liposomal glutathione alone or in combination have been shown to mitigate the oxidative effects of the toxin. Bentonite or zeolite clay is reported to reduce the absorption of multiple mycotoxins found in food, including OTA.
(I use A, E, C, Glutathione and charcoal for long time, but cholestyramine is main thing to do, right?)

The problem is, my doctor doesn't know it and can't write! :-/ Does anyone know any source? or who mixes a clean source of cholestyramine? Its dangerous?

Last question - ERMI test. Its available in Europe? Its best to do? Or its better options on market? We live in new house, clean, without moisture. My mom cleans a lot.

Last question 2 - anyone with same results as me and same symptoms - CFS, inflammation, orthostatic intollerance?

Cholestyramine is a prescription drug, at least in the US.

Looks like there’s one Shoemaker certified practitioner listed in the United Kingdom.

If too far away, look these people up and contact them. They may be able to help you long distance or be able to refer you to someone in your area.

ERMI test is through Mycometrics Lab. Looks like they do ship to other countries. ERMI is $290. HERTSMI-2, which only tests for the 5 most problematic molds found in water damaged buildings, is $155. The ERMI tests for 36 species.

CSM is script only

Does your Doc not have google or something? Sometimes you gotta poke these lazy Doctors in the butt. Bring a fact sheet of CSM in or something. Tell her you want to use it for cholesterol.

there are multiple mold FB groups and that discuss CSM issues.

Yeah, sometimes I think we're a hundred years behind here in Czech!
So hard to get some medications, but harder is find helpful doctor... bad situation.

I write some e-mail on certified Shoemaker physicians...hope someone help, write for me CSM.

I'll try some FB groups too! Thanks a lot, hope for get some meds to this protocol and try it! ;-)

Does your country have compounding pharmacies?Forgive me if that seems like a dumb question to you. Prescription CSM is full of fillers that can actually make the toxic mold in your body worse. I cannot for the life of me remember which physician stated this, but I made sure I pressed my doctor to get me on compounded CSM. I’ve been on pharmaceutical CSM before, and the herxing was awful and I wasn’t getting any better.
