Hi.

Do you know something I don't about these?

Indication of coinfection?
On recent thread I saw it mentioned by one user these pointed to Bart.

Pettechiae is red dots -Babesia.

Are they small red dots - not lesions or blisters

I thought babesia also. I am currently challenging Abab without reaction.

But in the disulfiram part 2 thread someone said red dots indicated to barttonella.

And yes small blood red dots all over torso, upper arms and some on thighs. Some dots bigger than others. From pinprick size to the size of an o. A couple ever so slightly raised. I believe petchia, but what is this Charlie speaking of? Mentions red dots in with Bart symptoms.

I have them on my chest. Mine are like tiny red pimples. They pop up last for about a week then disappear one by one. They popped up more once I started treating Bart so I’m guessing it’s the Bart trying to escape. I know there was an article that I read a few months ago saying that Bart rash can look like red pimples. I’ve also heard people say their LLMD tell them it’s Bart and Babs. I first thought it was maybe Candida but once I started treating Bart with Rifampin many more appeared. I’m now on the Cowden Protocol and have a lot on my chest at the moment. I feel like I Herx and more appear so I definitely think they are related to Bart in my case.

I haven’t read that red dots are bart.
I had some spots from what I think was bart - but they didn’t look like pettechiae - they were bigger and not as dark red.

Maybe it's not petchia that I have as that looks like a rash type of thing when I just googled. I have this seemingly random all over red dots thing that that never goes away. Like bright red freckles.

Wow how weird, I've had a bunch of bumps on my chest in the past few years I wonder if that's bart? They're not red, I thought they were just zits but I never used to get them there.

I've read that tiny red pinprick dots are bart, and a local LLMD told us that as well. I'll try to find a link later.

Just an FYI JovaLyme, There are numerous nuances to the dots and conflicting info here on if they are babs, Bart or a natural aging phenomenon as others without lyme will also have red dots. I wouldn't use as a confirmation. It's a confusing sleuth game for sure.

I myself haven't figured it out yet. Next up identifying the difference between petchia and cherry anomas and rashes that come and go.

Don't forget antibiotics can also cause pimples on the chest

Upon further investigation I believe mine are cherry angiomas. They are permanent. Not a rash. I have some that are bigger and others that are like pinprick size barley visable. I noticed an abundance several years ago. I looked at my mothers torso . Was thinking possibly hereditary. She has a couple. But I have many.
Always thought it was related to tbd.
Oh well.
My Abab trial didn't show anything maybe I'll try abart.

I have had them for years. I’m 49. Never thought anything about them. My mother has them, too. I have never noticed mine increasing in number, changing, or disappearing.

Of course I also have also had purple streaks on my abdomen and stretch marks all over my thighs since elementary school.

I have red dots all over both of my upper thighs. A couple look like cherry angiomas but the rest appear to be almost like tiny red freckles. They have recently started appearing on my chest as well. I was dx with Lyme in November and am wondering about Bart or Babs due to this and other symptoms.

Hi and welcome!! I see this was your first post. I looked at your picture and see faint lines all over, too, that look like stretch marks. Stretch marks are common with bartonella.

Most people with Lyme get multiple infections. Bartonella and babesia are the most talked about. They each have some distinctive symptoms but are often hard to tease apart.

I do get some of those red dots mostly on my chest, I think. They may come and go, but I haven't paid enough attention to them to know for sure.

Since I’ve been on the Cowden protocol I’ve been getting a ton of them on my chest and back. I’m hoping it’s the infection getting itself out of my body.

That makes sense. I have recently started the Cowden protocol as well and since then the amount of them has increased.

I also think the lines could be Bartonella
