If you didn't have those infections, you could still have severe insomnia. So don't focus on the infections, focus on what is happening at the cellular level. More than likely, you have a mitochondria dysfunction. Perhaps elevated copper is causing over stimulation, perhaps CoQ10 and carnitine are low, perhaps lithium levels are low, perhaps too many sulfur amino acids are stimulating glutamate receptors, perhaps excessive aluminum is blocking components of the Kreb Cycle, perhaps neopterin levels are too high, perhaps BH4 is too low, perhaps Casein Kinase II levels are altered, perhaps you don't have enough GABA, perhaps you need more Resveratrol, perhaps you have too much Thimerosal causing calcium flux, perhaps you have increased Staph levels which have increased aluminum levels, or perhaps you have elevated viral loads. As you see, there are quite a few things that can cause sleep issues. It is often a combination of the above that cause sleep issues. You can address some of them and at least rule them out.
Would the OAT test reveal all this, or are multiple tests needed?
