Eliz, I was told in one of my past lives I was a child with anemia or another fatigue-related illness and this life I wanted to overcome it and not be a victim to it like I was then. It's a nice story but I don't know how much of it I believe haha.
I would be inclined to believe absolutely none of that nonsense to be honest!
I can't believe people actually make a living peddling all that BS. For years I looked into all this kind of stuff, went to see mediums, psychics etc. My mother was into all that crap along with star signs. I grew up having my head filled with it all. My grandmother on my dad's side also claimed to be a white witch and put a spell (or curse as it turns out) on me when I was a baby.
It's not stuff that anyone should mess with and comes from a very bad place.
I'm not inclined to believe anything until I know it's real, that includes Judeo-Christian beliefs, Hindu, Islam...and also reincarnation, witches, spells, astrology. Its all religious/philosophical theory.
However, everyone has to have something that works for them. Maybe it's conventional religion, maybe it's alternative form of spirituality. Maybe it's reincarnation. I was raised believing in this. I was also baptized in the Eastern Orthodox Church.
I've had experiences of the unexplained...who knows? I can't say for certain anything from heaven, hell, reincarnation, whatever is real. The suffering I'm enduring in this life, and there's been a lot, has made sense to me through karmic/Hindu philosophy. That's how I cope. Everyone has their own way of going about
life. I also believe in God.
I'm not however, into the occult! That is dangerous and something completely different than what we're talking about
. If you're equating reincarnation with that, than I'm sorry, respectfully, you're misinformed.
