This is great news!

"The board has completed their extensive review of my practice and found nothing wrong. They appear to approve of what I do to help people with Lyme, chronic fatigue syndrome, fibromyalgia, and mold toxin illness. "

No good for people like us, unfortunately, however anyone newly infected will be less likely to suffer this nonsense.
Also, you may have noted that it's only testing antibodies, but it's a start. It will take lots of campaigning to get things to change properly, but they will. I'm sure many people on these forums are going to be the ones responsible for that.

It’s LLMD MR (Seattle) who was being investigated - so he shut his business and left Seattle.

He’s now back and reopened his clinic.

Yes Girlie is referencing Dr Ross. I would like to see the source of where he said that about disulfiram. I follow him very closely and I have never seen him say that about DSF and I have never heard him reference lyme as lymes.

I'm sorry but I absolutely disagree with the bunch of people on facebook talking crap about Dr. Ross.

Most of the people referring to Dr. Ross (including in this thread) that are losing their crap about the biofilm statement he supposedly made, DIDN'T EVEN LISTEN TO HIS TALK.
Get ahold of yourself and stop trashing someone reputation based on things you HEARD about the person. Listen to what he actually says and make an educated opinion about the man.

Dr. Ross never mentioned that Disulfiram was JUST a biofilm buster. He said it was a strong one. He also said that Disulfiram had a lot of potential and that he was personally going to pair with antibiotics.
Note that was I just said was not based on some random post someone made on facebook; it's based on Marty Ross HIMSELF, from his last 2 webinars.

I challenge anyone on here to actually state the DIRECT source of these bullcrap statement these people are relaying about Dr. Ross.

He talks about biofilms at 10 minutes. He has not treated anyone with this drug yet he appears to be an authority on it. I would have gotten ripped on in junior high if I made statements like this in science class. Yet somehow you get on a youtube channel and its ok.

Regardless of who said what, it is highly unlikely that disulfiram is just a biofilm buster.

At a minimum it's interfering with the metal ions that Lyme requires to replicate (zinc + manganese).

I'd be surprised if our immune systems can completely destroy Lyme if it simply weren't for biofilms.

In that specific segment he talks about Disulfiram, he uses the words "MAY", "MAYBE" "PROBABLY" about 10 times.
He's giving HIS honest opinion on what he heard from this drug, and to me it seems that he thinks the *main* mechanism of Disulfiram is about erradicating biofilms.
Dr. Ross also mention pretty much in every webinar that the Jury is out regarding Disulfiram, and that we know very little.

If you look up at his *official* statement about Disulfiram on his website:

"One of the thing that the Disulfiram/Antabuse can do is treat persisters. There MAYBE some ability to help with Babesia. It does have some action against Parasite".

Dr. Ross is a VERY pragmatic doctor who is still willing to share his OPINION on matters, and I can't believe people on here are trying to make him look like some kind of lunatic.

I know many people who have had him for their LLMD (closest one to my location) and while not everyone who has seen him likes him - many, many people do.

In fact Christa (from the video Justin and Christa) was treated by MR and she was a difficult case.
He did not give up on her - and she was very sick.

She’s been in remission for several years now - I’m guessing maybe 7 years?

He’s a Dr!! ... and I’m sure he’s done his research to safely prescribe it. My goodness!!!

Well then I'm highly interested in having your references or sources for that matter.
And even then, as long as it's not forced to a patient, I don't see having spiritual beliefs something that deserve being talked crap.
You have the right to disagree with his practice, but it doesn't give you the right to SPAM on every social media how he's a phony and a crook.

It's really easy to tarnish a reputation like you're doing and have been doing on facebook. I personally find what you're doing a real shame.
Keep repeating how he wrongfully spelled Lyme "Lymes", that sure help our cause tremendously.

We don't have many allies in the Lyme world, Marty Ross is one of them.

And about him posting his opinion on youtube about his view on Disulfiram?
- He's a doctor
- He's a Lyme specialist
- He touches base with several other LLMD
- He personally attend ILADS

Yep, I'm indeed VERY interesting in having the opinion of such a person. And through his free webinar, I've seen him give TONS of free advice that made a lot of sense with what you find in the literature, if you have the mental clarity to make your own researches, which not everyone has, hence why having such a person available is something very previous to a lot of people.

They all don’t have experience until they treat their first patient - how the heck does any dr get experience...? They all have a first time.

My biggest gripe is posting youtube videos about something you haven't treated with. Part of this is my dislike for social media when it comes to the medical field. I very much didnt like Leigner's presentation with hand written vague information on treatment. Now its plastered all over social media. When you put stuff on youtube or a website and put Lyme and MD after your name what you say becomes fact if your not careful and people copy it. When its nothing more then in my opinion a uneducated guess.

I dont have anything else to add to this thread. Ill let it go now..
