JovaLyme and UnsightlyCygnet—I'm glad my story was encouraging. Before I got sick with Lyme, I was just so sad a lot of the time. When Jesus actually became real to me, I feel like my inside(soul, etc) was healed. Even though I was still really sick, somehow something changed.
I feel like God has given me visions of the future to encourage me also. One of my favorite books is Corrie ten Boom's The Hiding Place. I think there are instances of Corrie having visions. I think though it is important to be focused on God and not get only focused on the visions themselves, if that makes sense.
CalmLittleBuddha—I have a photographic memory too—sometimes. I'm surprised at the amount of things I've forgotten (especially things that happened when I was very sick). I also remember things that didn't happen occasionally, which is annoying. I remember a lot from when I was very young (5 or 6).
