Does disulfiram help with bartonella?

I’ve had a bit of a relapse and trialed on rifampin and Septra to see if it was indeed bartonella and it clearly is. My LLMD is interested in trying me on disulfiram, has anyone else given it a go for bartonella?

Disulfiram just made my bartonella flare (as did valproate). When the bartonella flared up, I found that I could kill it with minocycline. I found that septra also worked against bart, but it was resistant to rifampin.

A lot of people claim Bart herxes on this. I personally don't know. Before I started, I had a course of bactrim, which did nothing. I'm hoping to God that I do not have it.

If you go for it it's probably best to use another abx with it. It's a nuisance though because it gains resistance pretty quickly apparently.
