I appreciate the feedback. In December of 2015 I came down with a lung infection and was put on an antibiotic, steroids, and an inhaler and within a week I was bedridden. After that it was months of MD visits and so many tests for ALS, MS and other things that I about went crazy and was told by most it was a virus and now it was in my head.
The fatigue, muscle twitching, whole-body vibrations like when I had gone on steroids, muscle exhaustion. Was finally diagnosed clinically with Lyme, Bartonella, and Babesia. Went on antibiotics for a couple of months before much improvement.
After that I would come off and relapsed. the next time I was treated the symptoms got better much more quickly. after a few months came off and the cycle repeated. got mostly better.
This year has been different though. I have been getting dizzy spells almost vertigo-like. and then one day the vibrations started and it felt like I had just taken a bunch of steroids like when I had first gotten sick. Then anxiety and muscle weakness and the twitching was bad enough to keep me up at night.
The odd thing is before when I would get flairs it was about once a month or so, this time it is once a week. and with the muscle twitching, weakness, anxiety, and episodes of crying for no reason made me go crazy. I can hardly make it 4 hours at work without my back getting so tight it hurts and my jaws are weak to the point I cant hardly even chew dry things.
My MD started me back on antibiotics again since he is booked out till March but he is also going to be retiring soon. I am just looking to bounce thought off of you all and see what ya'll thought. I am on azithromycin, Cefuroxime, and Metronidazole 2 weeks on two weeks off as last time I was on antibiotics after a month the anxiety was unbearable.
