So just read that Bieber said that those just injections he is getting are NAD+. Anyone experiment w/ this stuff?

Its supposed to help autoimmune diseases.

I have been on nad+ for the last 23 months. Not for lyme as I believe I took care of that problem with 5 yrs of intense ubi and light treatments.

The nad is suppose to rebuild the dna. Nasa is checking it out for sending people to mars. It if works, the people returning will not have cancer or problems for long term expose to radiation.
My buddy has been on it for 8 months and his hair is turning back to its orginal color. He's 72 and been snow white for a number of years

As for myself, I am using it for the anti-aging benefits. Several months ago I had planned on doing crisper to generate my nad+ as I didn't know i could purhase it.

There were threads on this several months back, but just using the term nicotinamide. Maybe do a search, in case one of them is helpful for you. I tried it for two days and just felt toxic and awful - sluggish, bad headache, nausea. But others seem to benefit. Sounds like amazing stuff, from what I have read.

(I feel like I write that a lot - something sounds amazing and helps a lot of people, but it was intolerable for me....)

Zhang recommends Tru Niagen, just fyi. And he was VERY excited talking about it. I was taking it for a while but I was taking a hundred different supplements them, and I cut it out with a bunch of because my gut was overburdened.

I have been taking 300mg daily for the last 23 months. Check my earlier posts as I was looking for information from the group on using yeast for implanting the dna, Got a couple of replies.

Normally you use e-coli bacteria, but I wanted to use yeast to insert the plasmid. Discovered I could purchase it, so didn't bother putting a lab together.

Check out youtube and parkinsons. Quite amazing!

From what I understand, burning through NADH produces NAD. You burn NADH with exercise and fasting. For those interested in producing more NAD without supplements...

Ok, seems to be a bit of confusion here

First off Claude are you taking nicotinamide riboside (NR) or actual NAD+? NR will THEORETICALLY raise NAD+ levels in the mito but no one knows for sure. Taking NAD+ orally is pointless since the stomach breaks it down.

What Beiber is getting is pure NAD+ infusion directly into the bloodstream and its very expensive.

One thing you can try is to get pure NAD+ powder and mix it with dmso and take it sublingually and also try transdermal near the heart. I have done this and you definitely feel something for sure.

Lapis, that was going to be my next question. My understanding is that NAD+ is only bioavalaible when injected. nicotinamide doesnt seem to have quite the same effects. I assume claude is taking the latter.

I found a few drs who do these injections in NYC (yes, very pricy). Going to try it, this stuff is supposedly great for rebuilding the central and peripheral nervous system. I found studies on the FDAs website showing that injections actually can aid in the recovery of alcohol/opiod dependence by rewiring the brain. If it can help w/ that, I'm sure it can help w/ damage due to autoimmune encelpholapathy. Nerve damage as well.

When the article came out that Bieber had lyme i hypothesized that he actually had a drug addiction and was blaming it on "lyme". Based on his documentary and the fact that he's on NAD, that may have been an accurate call.

Don't trust celebrities, just take what they say with a grain of salt. They have an entire PR team that makes sure what they say is good for their image. Who knows what beiber's actual medical situation really is?

There is some debate about taking nad+ orally, however it seems that the bacteria in our system absorbs some of this.

When given to rats both orally and via iv the urine tested showed that they were using the nad+.

I am using a product called life extension, in 300 mg caps.

Hell for a $1.00 a day, if it works and keeps me out of the hospital well, one visit to the ER runs me $120.00. And at 70 years old and out cutting wood, (fire wood for three houses) I think I'm doing pretty good. I am also using my light treatments which cost nothing..

I won't go into magnetic fields and the removal of free radicals. Something else I have been doing for 16 years..

yes that is the brand which I have been taking for the last 23 months. They also put out a magazine every month.

My father in-outlaw has parkinsons. Needless to say I have put him on this. It seems to work with his medication, when on this his shaking is almost gone. Had a month in which he had to go without the nad+ for about 5 days. The shaking became terrible. When our next shipment came in and he got back on the nad, about 3-4 days his shaking almost goes away. So, this is appears to be working.

Blakeleys doctor recommended trying NAD+ IVs a few months ago. We wanted to finish up the DesBios series kits and see where that left her before adding something else so that we would know more about what did what.

The DesBios kits got her out of bed and to about 50% for several days now. We may revisit that but this week, we planned to go ahead with 5 days of the NAD+.

Today was the first infusion. It is a small amount which is diluted in 500 ml bag. They see how she tolerated it and then kept diluting until she didn’t feel “weird (tight chest, odd feeling in legs or arms)”. She prob ended up getting a full 1000 ml bag and it took 7 hours! They had told us their longest patient took 4 hours. Looong day. Such a slow drip.

She seemed ok during the drip but now that we are home, she feels terrible. Extreme throbbing throughout whole body. (She has experienced that before w a herx). There’s not much info out there about negative reactions to this stuff. We were told to expect only good things.

Anyway, I am praying for wisdom here...do we go back tomorrow as planned (Early morning) or see how she does after a nights sleep, which means cancelling tomorrow’s IV appt. I really don’t know how it could cause a herx or if that’s what this is or if it’s just her body responding. Who knows!?

Also, they said she should tolerate better as she gets more so not expecting such a long day tomorrow. BUT, seems Blakeley responds opposite on a lot of things, unfortunately.

Was hoping to be able to report NAD+ is fabulous😊. The jury is def still out.

The Beebs did another Ellen show - and did mention Lyme.

Is that why he started the NAD+ ? Because of lyme?

I have no idea. I haven’t found much info at all about Bieber. I don’t even know where info came out that he was using NAD.

Blakeleys dr did say she’s seen positive results with her lyme patients. NAD is sort of the “hot thing” right now so idk. I am surprised at blakeleys reaction. She felt horrible when she went to bed tonight.

If you want to take it orally then NMN is a better option. It's very expensive at the required dosage though. about $5 per day. It stands for Nicotinamide mononucleotide.

Looking into either getting NAD+ infusion or trying Tru Niegen (nicotinamide riboside (NR)).

10LymeB reported great results with Tru Niegen. Tru Niegen comes in 2 doses - 300mg and 500mg. Not sure which dose she took or how many capsules per day.

Did Blakely ever go back for another NAD+ IV? Did she ever try Tru Niegen?

Wondering if this would help me with mold issues.
