RainyCloud, don't feel bad just from doing a fairly difficult repair on my car, now I feel like I did a marathon and got hit by a truck... :/ The amount of soreness is way more than it should be, like 3-5X soreness, and recovery time not what it should be, feels like chronic fatigue/fibromyalgia and it seems to have taken a mental toll as well, taking me 5 days to do something that might have taken a half-day before...
Remember, you will get better, who knows how much but better for sure.
As a do-it-yourselfer, I can relate. Ive mention this a few times in the past and, I dont think many here "got it" though. When a DTY can no longer "do" stuff effectively, it sucks the life out of you since this is who you are. The recvovery time really sucked and piled up more pain layers..
I hated paying people to do stuff when I have better hands-on-skills and results, but pain made it impossible for me to do it in timely fashion.
Now "healed/remission" Just did a major carpentry project last fall, was putting it off from past fear of pain. I did it. Perfectly too. Its hard to change the brain into healed mode from years of illness and "cant do" mode to "can do".
