columbia university lyme reasearch center, can i back out/test toomorrow

i I' wish I had read the reviews before making an appt. my husband went to Columbia so he was reallypushing going there. i was too until iread tghe reviews. My son has been sick 5 years, agoraphobic in his room, heartbreaking, age 24 now. I thought maybe Columbia would be up to speed with new drugs: DSF and MethylBlue.
What would happen if I don't go? still pay? thanks

You'll have to contact the clinic for their cancellation policies. sad

There have been some threads on here that mentioned Columbia, but not many replies. Which discouraging reviews are you referring to? If your appointment is soon, then maybe the clinic will let you cancel or postpone appointments right now anyway because of COVID-19 safety concerns.

try Gedroic in NJ. i know a 19 year old who went there recently after having taken off college for a year due to his illness and he's doing much better. she does a full protocol and IV's. very pricey of course.

I too recommend to call today and at lease postpone a few months if you can, then call later to a few weeks to cancel all together. Getting a postponement now will be easier for the desk stall to accept and give you another appointment so they can get someone in on the wait list, than tying to explain why you have changed your mind to cancel.
