Hi all,
I’ve been doing ok lately. On Buhner herbs for Lyme and bartonella. Yet, recently I’ve been having a strange thing happen, I wake up in the night (very common for me) do my usual get up for about
an hour but now when I try to go back to sleep around 4amish I have this weird feeling. It’s so hard to describe and so subjective, but it almost feels like as I’m dozing off I’m being woken again by my brain being dragged through cold water and/or it’s like my body is trapped in a weird form of sleep paralysis where I feel like I’m sinking/floating. It’s such an awful feeling that I have to pull myself completely awake out of it and I end up getting up again watching tv until about
7am and then go back to sleep (the feeling usually doesn’t occur at this time, maybe because I’m so darn tired).
The only thing that I’m doing differently is I’ve started taking a drop or two of des bio parasite cleanse (wormwood, pumpkin seed, senna, and I can’t remember the rest) before bed. I didn’t take it tonight to see if that’s what’s causing the problem, but I’d like to know if anyone else gets this awful feeling when falling asleep?

I take a parasite remedy on a regular basis but I have become more sensitive to it lately. I used to take it half in the morning and half in the evening with food. Thats good practice of course but it messes with my sleep. Its not a herx but it is an allergy reaction so while I haven't found an alternative and I still have to use it. .... I take it when I first get up in the morning and at lunch time. In fact for me it is better sleep hygiene to not eat much at all after 12. For me I dont sleep well and it is hard to relax.
I have had some weird reactions to magnesium and potassium. If I do something that bumps up my electrolytes too much I feel like I am lapsing into a coma off and on. I can take it in small doses but too much is way too dramatic for me apparently I dont absorb it and it has dramatic effects on my metabolism.
I know we are all differently I hope you find a solution.

Califlower, I would think that this feeling is being caused by all of the toxins being flushed out of your body and brain from the parasite cleanse. Are you detoxing at all? I get sleep paralysis too especially when I am stressed and it is very scary. I find that when I am sleeping on my side it happens less. I hope this helps.

DesBio does not mess around. My money would be on that as the cause. Sounds like an awful thing to deal with.
Are you on the DesBio detox kit, too, to help clear things out?

Hi,
Thanks for your responses. So I didn’t take the parasite drop last night and I was fine this morning (my usual 4am wake up, but totally ok going back to sleep, although I was stressing about
it). So it sounds like it was the des bio.As saraeli said- it doesn’t mess around!
