My brain inflammation has gotten way better but I still have times of psych issues. I was wondering if it is a case of encephalitis and neurotransmitters are out of balance. My OCD has diminished greatly and my cognition has gotten better. I just been having violent thoughts and rage that come on. I hate it is not me!!!! It could be infection?Our it could be my hormones that are out of whack?

Woodduck - I don't have an answer for you but I have also been going through what I believe to be a psych herx hell due to Bartonella for the past several months while treating with herbs. I had the exact same irritability/anger/rage reaction (of varying severity) following most of the dosages I've taken, 3 times a day, for the most of the past 3 months.

Only recently have I felt like I am turning the corner and the herxes are getting less severe and changing form (not out of the woods yet though).

I don't know what is right for you and your situation. But I kept going with the herbs out of hope that it would eventually work and it seems to be paying off. But I'm sorry as I know this is literal hell on earth to go through, and many a day I've wondered if I am just torturing myself for no reason.

Have you tried Japanese knotweed? Large doses have helped me out in times of rage.

On occasion i get ocd thoughts and Pure Inositol is helpful.

You could always try sarsaparilla root. It's very good for overall brain psyche symptoms.

Anyways those are just a few things that have helped me out.
