Please help me to brainstorm! Heart arrhythmias are driving me nuts.* Does anyone have ideas for resetting the nervous system, relatively quickly?
I'm tempted to electrocute myself, but that's probably not the best thing to try. ;) I'll try tapping (EFT) first.
Does anyone have resources or ideas for nerve glides/nerve flossing for heart issues? How about specific yoga poses or videos, breathing exercises, essential oils, acupressure points, etc.
This might be a really foolish question, but could some sort of shock help, like startling a person with hiccups helps? Cold showers? I'm not experiencing a-fib, but you can slow a bout of a-fib or tachycardia by just holding in a deep breath and baring down, so maybe something simple like that could help interrupt whatever wonky signals are happening for me?
Thanks in advance!
*Premature ventricular contractions, usually harmless, probably caused by stress, going on intermittently for two months. Had an echo a year ago, have an EKG and pulse oximeter and BP cuff at home, so fairly confident my heart itself is fine. No other symptoms of cardiac issues (swelling, unusual fatigue, shortness of breath, lightheadedness, chest pain, etc.). I have POTS, but that flares with stress, too, and isn't unusual for me. I get plenty of salt and magnesium, and stay properly hydrated. Also just started to supplement iron, as I menstruate heavily and could be iron deficient. Definitely under extra stress lately and not being as proactive as I should be about managing it. Maybe I'll write another post asking how to take care of my health when I have an antsy kid stuck at home with me in a pandemic with no end in sight!
