Just posting quickly to see if the P5P form of B6 or the concept of "pyroluria" holds anything of interest because of what some in this thread have discussed about high b6 level possibly meaning they are deficient b/c the b6 is not being used
Kind of similar concept to the mthfr mutations etc

Good related points.
I looked into this back then. If remember correctly "pyroluria" test was often called the KP or PK test. Did that test several times as well, results varied but were not above range. People with this will not positively respond to 5-htp conversion to serotonin, which I take (5-htp) with good results during low light north winter season.
https://ndnr.com/anxietydepressionmental-health/pyroluria-a-cause-of-anxiety/P5P is the better version of B6 which is usually marketed toward "MITO" and gene B6 issue people, I experimented with this as noted in previous comment. That is one thing to try. In my case, I finally stopped taking supped b6 all together with no adverse affects noted.
Also remember: Most popular cold breakfast cereals and "junk food granola bars" have cheap B6 added, the better and more $ brands which are more natural do not have this. Read the labels.
