Just wanted to introduce myself and share my story in the hopes it may help someone.
I'm so thankful for this forum and has been very helpful to me through this illness.
I live in ontario,I'm 32, I became sick in Dec 2018. My stomach started feeling real weird, chest pressure, shaking chills, insomnia, fatigue, all kinds of strange things. I was in and out of the ER every week in Dec, felt like I was dying every time. Doctors there put me on PPIs and just said all my blood work looked fine. Got a stomach scope done and everything looked good. about 6 months later I crashed real hard again with crushing fatigue, and starting to have heart issues.I ditched the PPI's as they were not helping (stopping those is brutal). Got the canadian lyme test done and it was negative of course. Finally got my blood sent to Igenex, was positive for lyme and TBRF. My GP referred me to a local Infectious disease "specialist". He proceeded to tell me just how unreliable Igenex was, and how impossible it was that I could have lyme. I said well I totally disagree and would at least like some Abx,. He reluctantly gave me 21 days of Amox. I had a herx after 2 weeks of it and knew I was on the right track. Soon after I started crashing again, this time I was able to get referred to a doctor that was treating patients with lyme with longer term antibiotics. He put me on higher dose Amox and doxy as well. I did this for 4 months and had some real improvement. After stopping the abx it only took a few weeks for symptoms to start coming back again. Not wanting to have to do long term abx if possible, I started looking into other options, i had tried a bunch of different herbals by this point too, but had'nt found any real helpful. At this point my wife was also having strange symptoms so we were concerned about her getting it from me. We had heard good things about a clinic close by that has been treating a lot of lyme patents so we went there. They do bio energetic testing and treat with Rife machines and supplements. My wife tested mildly positive for lyme, my test mirrored the Igenex test which gave me some confidence. He claims his testing is comparable to Igenex within 90-95 % accuracy, and that they have cleared 230+ patients of lyme thus far. The first two weeks were quite hard for me with lots of herxing, it is very effective at killing this stuff! Since then the progress has been amazing, back at work full time and starting to truly feel better, still a ways to go I'm sure but it's pretty exciting. I love that treatments can be done at home, we do treatments 3 times per week and are also taking colloidal silver.
When antibiotics fail: by Brian Rosner has been a real helpful resource for me, if anyone wants to learn more about Rife therapy.
Hope this can encourage someone. God bless
