Can you give us a few highlights of what he talks about in this video? Maybe more people will watch.

It covers a pretty wide range of topics. He talks about the history of his clinic and his prior work with HIV. He says he plans to open a clinic in Ireland. Talks about the prognosis for patients, saying most can be treated, but those with motor neuron disease (ALS) often do not get better. Talks about bartonella and babesia as co-infections. Talks about risks of pregnancy and sexual transmission. Talks about biofilms, and when breaking up the biofilm having to kill what comes out. A little bit about pain and endocrine issues.

Thanks for posting the link, Girlie! I'm glad to know more about Dr. J., since I'm basically using his protocol (through a PA in Asheville, NC who has worked alongside him for years). VERY knowledgeable guy.

Great information and thanks for sharing! Girlie, you mention you take xylitol. If you are taking the xylitol on the same day as antibiotics when do you take the xylitol in reference to the abx? Is it recommended to take the xylitol 30 minutes before abx? DrJ mentions days of biofilm busting followed by days of killing so I'm not quite sure if it's recommended concurrently or relatively thereabouts.

Yah - xylitol coupled with lactoferrin is taken first thing in the morning.
The xylitol runs right through me!!

Dr J mentioned that spinal taps arent a good idea. Not a good way to diagnose plus there can be complications with the spinal tap.

LOL, yeah. Xylitol gave me more diarrhea than some antibiotics.

Okay, I guess--or at least hanging in there, ChristianWithLyme. I just started on the Lyme/Bart protocol with Anne, and Thurs., Friday, & Saturday of the 1st week weren't too pleasant. According to her, the Flagyl on Thurs. & Fri. can go after some deep Borrelia. Minor Herx and fuzzy thinking/cognitive issues on those days. The 2nd week was pretty much non-eventful.

For some reason, my spine and nerve pain from it have gotten SO much worse in this past year of treating with abx. And then I've had blood-clot issues in both legs (had to see a vascular Doc. about that). I asked him about Babesia possibly being a cause (since it infects red blood cells and becomes an intra-cellular parasite), but he knew next to nothing about that. . . .

Sorry to hear about your troubles, BlueRidgeDave, and hope they improve. I'm still struggling. Tried Ivermectin recently, and it seemed to help so hoping to continue with that along with Bart ABX (not Dr. J's protocols at this time).
