but there may be other or better ways of looking at it

lyme does such weird stuff to our immune systems almost any symptom is possible

i wonder when reading your post though whether it might be something else that's triggering the bumps/rash and this simply is happening at the same time as its getting colder outside.

bumps / rash hives are really common symptoms of food sensitivities - so it could also be something you are eating - especially if you have unwittingly added or changes something in your diet lately ( it can even be to an additive to something that you aren't really aware of unless you read every packet )

can also be from laundry detergents or conditioners or cosmetics

red marks or even hives from even light scratching( if that is when they arise ) is also a sign of MCAS - so if you know you have that already - it could be that this is simply flaring at the moment

overall - if it were me i would try to locate the root cause of the reaction and do something about that if you can - rather than take anti-histamines to kinda gloss over the issue

generally treating the root cause causes better relief of symptoms and is kinder to the body
that said if you cannot do anything about the cause they may be necessary for some.

Thanks both, Garzie I’ve just purchased a food intolerance test so hopefully that will provide some insight, WBF I’ve been treating for 3 years now, I’ve booked a consultation with a herbalist, she works alongside a well known LLMD in Ireland I’m really hoping she can help as it’s so hard self treating
