I too, was literally just thinking about this.
I’ve lost 35 lbs (from 160 to 125 lbs), haven’t been able to figure out why, my LLMD kept blaming parasites. I’ve also had terrible neuropsych symptoms, which got unbearable with Ivermectin treatment. Ivermectin is known to kill both parasites and Bart.
I recently had some ART (autonomic response testing) done which showed Bartonella, among a host of other things. But the neuropsych symptoms remind me of my first encounter with Bart in 2007. Then I remembered I lost the same amount of weight in 2007.
I also recently tested high for CMV through InfectoLabs so curious if that could contribute. But I feel like I must treat Bart again. I’ve lost nearly all my muscle and fat on my body and am incredibly weak.
any luck did u find any info out? I have all of those symptoms and it's hard to tell if it's bart or parasites I'm guessing little bit of both. My weight loss was dam near 50 pounds past few years as I'm just starting to gain very few pounds back. I learned I was having pancreatitis attacks and gallbladder attacks I've hear bart can damage those organs other than that there's no reason for that except maybe parasites or bacteria or some sort. My BMI or body mass index is always low. Idk why and wt do about
it. Seems I'm walking on bones no meat and my legs and arms constantly feel weak. I had low positive ana panel 1:40 and they thought it was lupus it was homogenous. I also have dry brittle hair and these white little markings on my nails tons of little spider veins on my legs thighs and cheeks. I also head bart can cause the veins. My thyroid over the past 8 yrs always comes bk normal bloodwork like wt gives. they are trying to boil it down to a connective tissue disease which is part of auto immune and can effect the muscles bones and joint tissues bt it also feels like bart/parasites. I beleive drinking bone broth helped me gain a few pounds bk.
