Hi. One of my worst symptoms in the past couple of months since the relapse has been the heart involvement. Usually at night and when in bed before sleep. Everything from a slight squeezing, intense pain, regular almost with the heart best type uncomfortable palpitation to last night every time I get up from sleep to use the bathroom the heart starts acting up and when I'm settled back down its starts to subside. I saw a RN 2 weeks ago who did the EKG and listening to my heart.

Nothing wrong. She set me up with a stress test and possibly wearing one of the 2 week monitors. Wednesday I see a primary care doc for the first time and I'd like him to add more tests or send me to a cardiologist maybe. He is versed in and treats Lyme so I'm hopeful he will listen to what I have to say. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks, I will. I'm still trying to figure out exactly what tests to ask for. He is a very good doctor and does treat Lyme so hopefully he is open minded about how this thing can affect the heart. I want to rule out things like Carditis.
