All over back pain

I’ve been experiencing burning and dull pain that migrates all around my mid to upper back. Sometimes the pain is in my upper right abdomen and sometimes it’s in the upper left but it’s mostly in my back. It can be severe at times. I had an ultrasound in January because I was mostly having pains in the gallbladder area but they also went to the left side and my back but nothing came up. I started my herbs again two weeks ago and the pain came about 4 days ago. Does anyone think it’s related? It’s kind of freaking me out because it’s not muscle pain, it feels like more internal organ pain. Any help is greatly appreciated

Does sound like gallbladder. Ultrasounds can miss small stones and "sludge," so it might be worth repeating the ultrasound, doing a gallbladder flush, or taking TUDCA. Does it change throughout the day? Does it get worse an hour or so after you eat?

If you rule out gallstones, then perhaps it could be a misaligned rib?

I’m hoping this goes away but looks like I’ll have to go back for more tests. Just hope it’s not my liver or pancreas since it’s really more in left mid back now.

I've had gallbladder stones (or sludge? Or irritation? I didn't get an ultrasound) move from my right side (gallbladder itself) to lower down (liver) to center (biliary ducts) and then left (pancreas) over a period of a few days. I think if a stone (or whatever) created any slowing or blockage, then inflammation, irritation, and even infections can occur in basically one part of the biliary tract after another. I would work on helping things along in that system if you can.

Flushes can involve Epsom salts (ingested), olive oil, and grapefruit or lemon juice. Some say unfiltered apple juice is good, too. There's a supplement called Pulverxx that contains chanca piedra and boldo. Milk thistle and peppermint can be helpful. Digestive bitters are a good idea.

If a regular doctor found gallstones, then they'd tell you that surgery is your only option. That's simply not true, in many cases, but it's what they'd say. People who can't have surgery due to ill health or refusal are given a drug called ursodiol, which dissolves gallstones over time. This is basically the same thing as TUDCA, which you can buy (including in powder form, if you want to titrate your dose) and start taking right away. Even if your issue is not gallstones, then this is a great supplement for your biliary tract and detox pathways, which need sprucing up in most of us, and has few if any side effects.

It shot up between my shoulder blades occasionally, yes. That pain journey lasted maybe two weeks total. My stools were very light in color during the pancreas phase.

I also had a gallstone once for a long time (two months) lodged in the duct that exits the gallbladder, and it caused severe pain for about an hour roughly one hour after I ate food. Honestly I think I dislodged it with the gallstone yoga poses (locust, bow, cobra, shoulder stand).

No, knock on wood, it hasn't returned. I have some TUDCA but have not started using it yet. (I know the chances of responding poorly to it are very low, but new supplements have sent me to the ER before, so I'm not eager to try anything new until I feel like COVID is no longer a threat.) I take dandelion, digestive bitters, and milk thistle to keep my biliary tract moving well. That episode was about a year ago, and the really long stretch was about two years ago.

I had this. It's away right now but what you describe seem to be my current' symptom when I have a relapse. I also had an ultrasound, visit to chiropractor, gynocoligist, urologist, et... and nothing of note. Pretty sure it is nerve pain and the inflammation from back presses on other organs - like bladder/colon for me. I continue to take herbs (also dandelion) and major anti-inflammation diet. I'm super sensitive and can't take much but a CBD salve helps. When it hits I can't do much. The reason I think it may be the same is because you mention the pain can go between shoulder blades. Do you have a lyme practitioner or holistic person you can see? Someone that can do a bio resonance scan? Feel better.

I never had back issues, ever. My back flare up happened again.Which feels like I pulled my back out and then there is very warm (like I have a fever in my back) pain up my spine. I also had pressure pain that felt like it was bottom to middle left of abdomen. I was wondering if it was colon and/or bladder. Then it spread and felt all over like pelvic inflammatory disease. It just hurt all the time so I would alternate heating pad on back then front. They seemed related like inflammation pushing on organs. We are all so unique so I would definitely get scans if I were you. I thought to myself "We think everything is a relapse. What if I have something else" So I did go to several doctors who came up with nothing. I did have UTI but I know that is not what the spine/heat feeling is from. Mine also can move up to upper back and between shoulders. For me it's nerve pain. Hope this helps. Keep us posted. Advil, CBD salve, heating pad and meditation helped. Can you put a castor oil pack on and see if that helps?

That's a great idea. My son has this terribly and his lyme doctor said never take the OTC reflux meds. He suggests taking a teaspoon of baking soda in water each day and then take Bicarbi 2x a day. I also had him move up the time he eats dinner to a much earlier time and that has helped. Good luck.
