Im starting cryptolepsis and was wondering what dosage to start at and how soon to titrate up. It is from woodland essence and the bottle says serving size is 1/2tsp to 2 tsp, 2 times a day. What should I start with?

1 drop! I recently learnt the hard way. Do 1 x 3 for a few days and go up by another drop when you feel comfortable. If 1 x 3 is too much do 1 x 2 or even 1 x 1.

I’m still only on 4 drops after 2 and a half months :-( Hopefully you’ll do better than I have though.

Oh sorry, I just noticed you said bottle says twice a day. 1 x 2 then. I put mine in a small amount of hot water to evaporate the alcohol.

starting low is good advice - crypto is one of the stronger ones - and woodland essence is a good source so it should be potent.

i find a herx usually appears within 3 days if it is going to - so increase each 4 days

when i am feeling brave - in order to get into the right range quicker - i sometimes double the dose each step initially - till i start feeling some effects - then i go in much smaller steps - its quicker - but runs the risk of taking enough to give a fairly strong herx before you realise

that's the equation i'm afraid - slower is safer -but its slow
faster is well faster - but.... you get the idea

I doubt putting the tinctures in hot water will significantly reduce alcohol content.

What should my target dose be? Wont it take so long to get to 60-240 drops

My herbalist wanted me to reach 10-20 drops x 3 or 4 times per day to start with.

Buhner recommends 5ml 3x for babesia

there are around 40 drops per ml - so that would be around 200drops 3x

by doubling each you would get to that dose in around 1month - but note the higher risks of severe herx

there is a reference on buhner healing lyme site to people having success with stubborn cases at much higher doses - up to 15ml 2x i think - short term - and mention that the people at herbal essences were in touch with those trying that - but the thread was old

My doc prescribed me 40 drops twice daily. Cryptolepis wasn’t that hard on me starting. No biofilm issues for me. If I were you I’d start super slow then if it’s not bad work up fast.
