Are you serious?
That’s not mold remediation. Remediation involves REMOVAL of contaminated material such as drywall and insulation after the source has been found. They will also manually remove contamination from wood framing or replace the wood if it’s necessary. They set up proper containment before doing any of this. They establish negative air pressure and/or laminar airflow if they’re really skilled. They clean the surfaces before cutting into them. They perform HEPA vacuuming before, during, and after the cleaning and removal phase. Then and only then do they use any kind of biochemical products (which is not recommended for those with chemical sensitivities). HVAC ducts should be cleaned according to NADCA standards after the remediation work is done. Flex ductwork should be replaced, preferably with hard pipe ducting.
The guidelines for remediation are clear that remediation is to REMOVE NOT KILL mold, and that dead mold is still allergenic.
