I can see an argument for both testing right away (since some remediation teams mess up and contaminate things even worse than when they got there, and they really should be leaving it pretty darn close to mold-free) and for testing a few months later (to see if the precautionary changes you made alongside remediation - such as dehumidifiers, fixing leaks, attic ventilation, etc. - are having their intended effects and preventing regrowth). I tested basically right away, and things were pristine. Not sure how things would test now, two years later, but would be curious to know!
