Astroman - I am very sorry to hear that. Did it come in bouts that lasted for months as well? That is great to hear the end result though!
Bluelyme - Yes, I would not have known what that is without reading about it in the forums. Certainly something new to me! I am not sure where mine is coming from, but I can only assume it is all based off of the infection(s) and overall biotoxic illness. At least I hope! Hmm, behind the ears? You know, I have been thinking about using some essential oils again. I WAS using them, but it was in a diffuser and I believe that contributed to the mold, but surely it fought it too since a lot of them killed it off. I will have to jot this down though and give it a try.
Deejavu - I disagree. As for overall detoxification of the human body, it is in fact one of the best ways to detox the body, so much so that my doc wanted me to limit it to one a day due to its power. For this whole ordeal, I doubt its the best (especially for mold) being that many of these plants only bind to certain mycotoxins. Beets/Okra are great for ochrotoxin. There are various others too, such as asparagus, tips of various plants including baby nettles etc. Ochratoxigenic molds seem to be of the same angstroms of most plant organisms, so this would be appropriate to assume.
I do agree that detox baths are great to get rid of the the die off. That's one of the foundations right there, and anyone going though this should certainly about them. Now, I have always wanted to try dry brushing! I love baths too, but foe some reason, my body has such a hard time with them these days. Sometimes they make me worse, so I have been sticking to foot baths, but last time I had one I had a panic attack. I a so darn sensitive to every little thing. Yes, it is interesting how our feet and head play a role in controlling the internal temperature of the body. Another fun fact about foot baths, they can also close pores, so the more that they are done, the more toxins can actually clog the pores if not properly exfoliated. I was recently reading this article on epigenetics and it got into organs. One piece was about how the skin (organ) interconnected with other various organs, such as the liver, pancreas, etc. and how when we dirty our skin, our organs can become jus has dirty. It basically ended with those pores being clogged for the reason of protecting our organs, but it makes one wonder if the same is happening to organs, and then if our organs on the inside are protecting our skin, all because the body is confused. I like to think it helps spark interest in new studies that connect with various other illnesses.
I bet the mustard tasted great!
